My PC was on my mattress and someone Made my pillow fall over it.
My friend closed the lid almost immediately, upon opening it,It hanged a bit with the mouse still working but unable to select or unlock it ,neither was any key on the keyboard functioning
It stayed that way for about 3 hours and after surfing the net,i followed a step which was to hold the power button for some seconds and it will go off which it did! before I got this link.
When I used the power button to bring it on,its showing ''no bootable device''
Pls help!
what can I do?
The PC has no disk drive too!
Please I need response ASAP!
Thanks!

press F2 during boot and check if HDD/SSD is listed on BIOS information tab.

if it's missing, probably there is a connection issue or, in the worst case, a dead HDD/SSD

which windows OS version is installed?

Hint: never use a laptop on soft surfaces, it will overheat quickly.

if HDD/SSD is listed, you can try ALT+F10 at boot, then click on repair my pc then troubleshoot-Advanced options - Automatic Repair

First of all try to check if ALT+F10 at boot take you to windows 8.x recovery and you can reach command prompt from there:
troubleshoot-advanced options- command prompt (if this works, go to point 4, if not point 1)

    1. create a vanilla Windows 8.1 installation media from this link:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

    2. Once you boot using the Windows installation disc, on the Windows 8.x installation window, click on Repair your computer.

    3. Click on Troubleshoot and in the Advanced options. First thing you may try is the Automatic Repair.

    4. If that does not help, then select Command Prompt. Enter the following four commands into the prompt.
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot
    bootrec /scanos
    bootrec /rebuildbcd
Once the command completes, restart the computer.
