C710-both USB ports on right side do not work, but one on left does. Any Ideas?

The problem had been intermediate and usually happened a day or so after beginning to use machine (it's only used for travel). It has been a week now.

I tried removing power cord and shuting down over night and also running battery all the way down, no luck.

Most annoying!

According to this picture the two are connected to the motherboard by a ribbon cable. I'm betting the cable has come loose or is cracked. If you are still in warranty, I'd have Acer fix it for you. If you are out of warranty a decent technician should be able to reseat the cable fairly cheaply.

Thanks.  I'll check it out. Right now they decided to work so I like the crs\acked option.
