Acer liquid e700 v1.0.18.00 upsate with problems and there is no change log.

    Ozzie, did you unzip the file?

     

    EDIT: you need to unzip that file and flash the extracted .zip file.

    I'm not an Acer employee.

    Oh man,.... they put a zip file in a zip file to save 1% of storage. Come on!

    Thanks IronFly, I missed that one and feel realy stupid right now Smiley Happy

    The E700 is now installing 1.0.14, after that I will update to 1.0.18 and then restore the user data.

    backup .... download an app from play store and use an sd card to backup.

    Hmmm,... the update to 1.0.14 is working, but aborts after a minute or so. I downloaded and extracted the image again to prevent that was the error, but it keeps aborting.

    Btw. using the "apply update from sdcard" option.

     

    At least the E700 rebooted, but it is still on 1.0.18.
