What type of M.2 slot does the WLAN card use? Also, does it require a CNVi version card? I assume it requires the non-vPro version card due to the CPU. Also, what are the specs of the NVME SSD slot?

The Acer TMP214-53-58GN laptop has an Intel AX201 Wi-Fi/BT card that is a Board Form Factor - M.2 2230, M.2 1216 / Bands: 2.4, 5 GHz (160MHz) type card and the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 card is an M.2: CNVio2. The M.2 SSD is a PCIe 3 x4 of 512GB and your Acer TravelMate P214-53 is powered by an Intel® Core™ i5-1135G7 processor, has an Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics and comes oem with 8GB DDR4-3200MHz memory and can be upgraded up to 32GB. and Windows 10 Pro some do come with Win-11 Pro also, but if not, its best that you upgrade this laptop to the last Win-11 22H2 OS build 22621.1194.

The AX201 runs on the Intel drivers that Acer provides with the oem Intel drivers for both Wi-Fi Version:22.170.0.3 and BT Version:22.170.0.2 for this card (Note: these are not the latest versions for this card) so and if you want to install the oem drivers, go to the TMP214-53-58GN Acer Drivers & Manuals section and download those drivers or its best if you install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant as that will completely scan your laptop and update all the Intel drivers on your laptop to the latest Win-11 drivers.

So the answer is, yes it requires a CNVi card. Currently that's either the AX201 for WiFi 6 or AX211 for WiFi 6E.

I upgraded the RAM to a KF432S20IBK2/16 kit after noticing the 8gb struggling with some loads. It worked perfectly and the laptop set the correct memory timings automatically.
