GPU Fan Helios 300 PH315-52 (Part: 23.Q5MN4.001) Replacement

Hello,

The original fan in my laptop went bad around a year ago (very noisy then stopped spinning).  I replaced the fan with a non-AeroBlade version as that was all I could find.  The laptop now thermal throttles so I'm looking for a genuine replacement.  However,  it appears the generation 4 AeroBlade 23.Q5MN4.001 are know for these issues, so I'd like to replace the fan with a generation 5 from the PH315-54.

Does anyone know if these are compatible?
Really all I need is the blade to fit in the old casing I have.

What is the part number for the PH315-54 gpu fan?

Where can I buy the part?

Any help would be appreciated,

BrandonP internal parts cannot be purchased directly from acer only from acer parts partners acer will only provide replacement parts under warranty and not to the end user they will replace them on the repair centers so if youre looking to replace it yourself you need to contact acer support directly to get the information for the nearest parts partner near you  also i do not recommend trying any parts that were not designed for you model as there might be small incompatibilities also the other question regarding your thermal throttling is have you ever repasted it properly or its still the stock paste if this is the case i recommend you to get some kryonaut or similar and repaste it properly also optimize windows and undervolt it with TS if you havent already  the normal delta plastic fans work as good as the aeroblade the performance its almost unnoticeable  plus the aeroblades gather much more dust in much shorter period of time because the dust stick to metal much more than to plastic but good luck :)

The laptop is out of warranty, and I'm not looking to send it in for a fan replacement.  Are replacement parts not purchasable from Acer by a consumer?

    Thanks @xapim,
Without a warranty Acer won't talk with me directly, have to use AnswerBy, so getting the part number is probably out of the question.  The computer has been re-pasted with Noctua NT-H2 and idles around 4-6 degrees cooler, still throttles under load unfortunately.  I haven't attempted an undervolt, as I thought the laptop came from the factory undervolted already? The gpu fan was replaced with one of the plastic delta fans, the delta has a lower RPM than the Aeroblade, which is why I assumed it was degrading the performance.

Regardless I'll mark the thread as answered.  However, these fans definitely shouldn't be failing after only 2 years and I can't even buy a genuine replacement for Acer's clearly faulty parts.

...This is why Right to Repair is so important
