Hello! Just wondering if anybody knows which cpu-cooler is good and easiest add to my pc? With the stock cooler, temps are somewhere around 90-95 all the time when playing games.
Predatorsense also shows wrong cpu temperature all the time so i dont know what is going on... Is it possible to adjust cpu fan somewhere from the predatorsense, because i cant find it from my model? There is only "Auto", "Gaming" and "Custom=where you can only adjust casefans".

Best regards

First, is your Predator PO3-620 under Acer warranty? If it is then send it to Acer and don’t touch it and/or change the CPU cooling fan, as it will void your warranty, let Acer sort your high temps out. If your computer is not under warranty then there are allot of aftermarket and more efficient LGA1151 CPU socket coolers than the stock Intel OEM cooler.

One of the best and one that fits into the space of your PO3-620 is the dry fan coolers model "Noctua NH-U9S” fan (see caption below) that has been proven with the Predator PO3-620 and fitted by another community member "MassiveMonkey66" see his post here "The P03-620 upgrades I've madethat will tell you all the mods that he has done to his PO3-620, also only use a high grade CPU paste like the "Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme" paste (that I've used and its excellent) and apply this paste with the "Pea Dot Method" only as to put just enough paste so that the CPU cooler can efficiently be shielded to make contact with the CPU and the cooling fan and its heatsink can work at its most efficient way. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

hey bro are you able to adjust the fan speed of the cpu cooler? I just bought the same one and I am not able to adjust it anywhere in the BIOS or even with PS. I also downloaded some third party software and it doesnt detect any of my fans. Both the cpu cooler and the case fans.

Hi Frank. What model noctua is this. Also did you have to change backplate. My backplate has the cpu case screwed into it for some reason so I need a cooler that will fit on the stock back bracket

    Noctua NH-U9S

jeg fastgjorde derefter det beslag, der også fulgte med Noctua -køleren ved hjælp af M3x12MM -skruer

    Hello frankoww,
Its really important now for me.

If you don't use the cpufan 3-4pin and only use the other two fan pins with y cable, then what is your 5th cooler running on?

One more very important question, can you control the cooler on the cpu this way? I guess if you have everything connected to the normal pins you can control all 4 (5?) fans from the sense at the same time?

Please answer, I am faced with a decision and don't know how it works for you.

Thanks mate. So then you removed the front fan? Now u have back, top, sidepanel, and cpu?
With these temperatures, is everything OK with the machine at 100% load? No throttling, freeze anything?
Do you need close sense after change fan settings for smoother gameplay?

Ho, I've the same 630 cursed with cpu overheat. I've seen you went heavy with fans, but before adding every vent you started with the simple cpu cooler fan replacement, right? (noctua cooler)

How we're the temperature after only that upgrade?
I would start easy making the minimum to keep it from cooking the cpu and go with heavier modifications in the future, in case.

Thanks you and kudos for the skills!

A dremel and a little foam tape, was a bi*ch, but worth it.

Did you dremel the mesh that's blocking the exhaust and intake fans? I see that you removed the HDD tray, too. Good job!

About that Arctic cooler. Could you please name the exact model and tell us what you had to do to install it? Thanks! People might want to have more options than always go for Noctua, you see.
