The lag is similar to when you get thermal throttling but it lasts indefinitely and I've only managed it fix it by replugging my laptop but it can happen again. I don't know the conditions for it to happens, but I think it's kinda like a 50/50 of happening. Also, the of my laptop is "wliggles".

Specs: Acer NItro 5 ANA515-43

CPU: Ryzen 5
GPU: RX 560X

That's normal, all the components throttle while on battery power as to not wreck the battery :) it's not possible to run things at full speed if not on ac

    Hi BunE,

    # Try to update the battery driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option battery.
    4. Under the title battery.

    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
    6. Choose "search automatically".

Check this T/S and post the result.

Is the throttle indefinite or just momentary? because for me it's the former.

Forever, as the battery can't deliver enough power to all the components
