Re-pasting pink pads on my PH315-52 2019 model

I have been trying to find a conclusion for which pad size would suffice as a replacement for the pink pads/paste around the gpu area. I have found this image on this community forum labeling what size pads will work in certain areas. Now,  how accurate is this?     I forgot to mention that I am using the same adwits thermal pads. Recently I opened my laptop for a repaste and I couldn't pull the heatsink off(If I had forced it probably it would have pulled the mobo or the chips out). I had to use a hairdryer on the thermal pads to loosen the heatsink, only then could I get it off. I am not sure if the thermal pads caused this kind of tightness or the thermal paste or something else.

    I faced the same issue while repasting my laptop. The recommended size was 1-1.5 mm on all or something like that I dont exactly remember, but once I repasted and fired up some stress tests, the cpu was doing great but the gpu instantly throttled to 94-95'C. So I took it apart again and foung that the paste didn't spread on the gpu die at all since the pads were so high. I had some bad paste in my house so I applied the bad paste to the die then changed the pads to a different size then placed the heatsink and checked if it spread or not. In my case 0.5mm only worked. Its sort of trial and error but I think laptop to laptop it does differ.

    Don't use thermal pads would be my recommendation for GPU VRMs. Use K5 Pro.

    So, 0.5mm (left side of gpu) for all the pink paste/pads?

    I have K5 Pro and took it apart yesterday and realized how messy it became. It also created bubbles which I had to worry at that point...

    So, 0.5mm (left side of gpu) for all the pink paste/pads? 
    Yup. It gives good temps of about 67'C max on +100Mhz OC

    I bought Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 1mm because I have heard from people (one of them being a Youtuber by the name of SerpentXSF) who has used 0.5mm but concluded he'll make a new video with 1mm next week. That was his suggestion.
