What was the part number you removed, and what did you install?

If there is a battery reset on the bottom of the lappy, you could try pressing that for around 5 seconds

But what are the part numbers? The ram you installed may not be compatible

What part number? Is it the type of ram? If that, then its DDR3. And also its 1600mhz

So on the ram there should be a part number or make and model. Is the ram you bought DDR3 or DDR3L?

That's the problem, the top 4GB one is DDR3L which runs at 1.3V

The bottom is DDR3 1.5V which isn't supported , it's lucky it didn't try the motherboard! It needs to be DDR3L

Sorry for the delay the notification got buried!
