Do high-resolution images or heavy menu layouts cause slowdowns on Acer Aspire series?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using an Acer Aspire 5 (Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM) for a mix of light browsing and daily tasks. But recently, I’ve noticed something odd: when I visit certain websites that are image-heavy or have complex layouts—especially food-related menus—my system becomes a bit laggy in Chrome and Edge.

For example, I was checking out this restaurant menu site: 5guyzmenu.com and after a few scrolls, the laptop fans kick in and tab responsiveness drops slightly. It doesn’t happen on simpler sites.

Has anyone else experienced this with certain Acer devices? Could this be related to the integrated GPU or power-saving settings?

Would appreciate your thoughts!
