I have an Acer A-316-41-R540 lap top manufactured on 24/4/2018.
The inbuilt battery has been replaced.
The solid state hard drive was checked by a computer tech approx. 2 years ago and found to be 75%.
The laptop has developed an annoying issue of the cursor jumping all over the place when typing up a document or an email. This is quite annoying.
I sent a letter to Acer here in Australia, they did not have the courtesy to even reply. They along with most companies today have set up an electronic wall !!
A recent search on line produced a large range of Acer laptops with varying levels of capacity, pricing etc. Most computer sales people that I have had brief conversations with only want to sell you a new laptop. I am hoping that someone in the on-line Acer community can provide some meaningful advice on (a) do I need to replace my existing laptop, (b) if so, which new model compares to my existing laptop. It is used as a personal / home office tool.
Thank you.
