How can I fix my low frame per second on my Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH317-53)?

Hello everyone, I have recently purchased the Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH317-53). I bought this laptop to game as well as to work. I have been very unsatisfied with my frames per second. My main game that I play is Rainbow Six: Siege. On the lowest settings my frames vary from 100-118. in my opinion, this laptop should be getting 150+ frames per second on low settings or am I mistaken? I have updated and optimised all settings and drivers... I even bought PC HelpSoft Driver Updater to make sure everything is up to date... But still I am not satisfied with the frames per second... Even with other games I don't get the frames I am supposed to. Please help>

How to improve FPS in Windows 10

1. Update your drivers.
2. Adjust for best performance.
3. Turn on Game Mode.
4. Lower your resolution.
5. Configure Vertical Sync.
6. Overclock your computer.
7. Install Razer Cortex.
8. Close background processes and resources consuming programs.
