Acer Nitro 5 NP515-51 Why isn't my dock station transmitting video?

Hi,

I just bought a dock station, connected it to my Notebook and some peripherals are working (mouse, keyboard), but others aren't (network, video).

The specs of the dock station can be found here: https://i-tec.cz/wp-content/uploads/datasheety/C31FLATDOCKPDPLUS_en.pdf. From what I read, it requires the computer to have a USB-C port with “DisplayPort Alternate Mode” support or a Thunderbolt™3 port. Hence, I am wondering if my Acer Nitro 5 (NP515-51-80XS) supports it. Does it? I can't find anywhere what are the capabilities of my Acer USB-C port.

Thanks in advance for the help!

And which document says that? Because I already saw some documents mentioning the USB-C port of my model supports DisplayPort.

Hum, do you have a link to the document, it might be that I am wrong.
EDIT: Yep, just saw that this is a Spin not a regular Nitro 5 model, so yes it supports DP.
Do you have an USB-C to DP cable to try direct connection to the monitor?

Unfortunately I don't. All I have is this dock station I was expecting to work but that doesn't. Again, here it goes its specs: https://i-tec.cz/wp-content/uploads/datasheety/C31FLATDOCKPDPLUS_en.pdf.

The specs would be helpfull if we know for sure that the USB-C port on the laptop is fully operational..

Hi @batmalin, thanks for the help so far. As for the USB-C port, I am quite sure it's operational as it works, for example, with my ethernet to USB-C converter.

Below the port details from Acer webpage, so I don`t see any reason why it is not working with the dock:
    USB Type-C port supporting:USB 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps), DisplayPort over USB-C, USB charging 5 V; 3 A
