Acer care centre states a defect has been found and advises me to back up data to another disk.
Hi Peeps
Been having a problem with my Acer Aspire V3- 574T (Windows 10) recently - on wake up from sleep its taking ages to wake, hanging etc, cant access anything for a couple of mins, even task manager wont open.
I did a check via Acer Care Centre and it states that my Toshiba hard drive has errors and suggests "Defect Found. You are advised to back up your data to another disk"
So I followed the suggestion, I have back up my data to external hard drive Capacity is 930 GB with 405 GB of free space.
I've then ran error check via windows 10 (Properties > Tools > Error Checking) the result is that windows found no errors.
So I did another Check via Acer Care Centre and AGAIN its telling me I should back up my data.
So which is correct - Windows or Care Centre
Advice welcome.
