hello there , i recently got my helios 300 predator its like 6 days old..
and my problem is that the cpu tends to heat up to much while gaming.. max was 90c but usually it is around 85 to 88.
gpu is fine max was 79.
i ordered a cooling pad to c how this will help it has 6 fans!
i try to undervolt via intel xtu but it keeps resseting my save profile after i shut down the laptop.
my specs are gtx 1016ti , i5 9300h , 8gb ddr4 ram , 256 ssd ,1tb hdd. 144hz display 15.6 inch.
so.. to all of you please help me with my i5 9300h heat problem why is it like this why it goes up to 90C.
i repeat.. not all the time reacches 90c its always around 85 to 88c but sometimes 90c..#
please help .
( i am a dekstop gamer for over 8 years , it is my first time when i buy a laptop..do i have to worry if the cpu is 90C ?! )

catalin9333 yes you have to worry thast not normal at all on the 2019 models send it back for a repaste this model comes pre undervolted on stock gpu shouldnt exceed 70 max and cpu 80 max and thats already pushing it the opther option you have is if your dont have any warranty seals on it you can disassemble it and repaste it yourself with kryonaut or similar without voiding the warranty (as long as you know exactly what you are doing and dont damage anything in the process) also undervolting with xtu wont work u have to use TS if you pretend to overwrite the stock values set on PS xtu profiles
