Some laptop manufacturers offer support for IT professionals so that repair technicians can order laptop parts. Does the manufacturer offer this service? If so, what must you do to qualify?

The information bellow can vary by region, for Canada/US region:

What are the requirements to become an authorized service center?

• Authorized service provider programs can vary by country. In the US and Canada, we have partnered with several providers already, and are not taking requests for new ASPs at this time.

Some laptop manufacturers offer support for IT professionals so that repair technicians can order laptop parts. Does the manufacturer offer this service? If so, what must you do to qualify?

• You can order parts for repairing Acer systems directly from parts partners, or by contacting Acer support in some instances. Repairs for systems in warranty are always recommended to be done by Acer or a certified Service Provider. Acer does not provide instructions or service manuals for system repair.

However, Acer may modify or change processes of evaluating ASP requests at any time.
