Acer successfully powered the 2018 International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2018) in Tsukuba, Japan, as the sole provider of notebook PCs for contestants and staff, as well as servers to run the contest management systems and language translations. In total, Acer provided 450 Aspire notebooks, Altos servers, and on-site technical support for the contest held from September 1 to 8 this year.
