Generic PnP Monitor x34 Predator

Hi guys,

 

 

I have found in my device maneger is my monitor name " Generic PnP Monitor " not as always Acer X34

and i serach about Generic PnP Monitor and i do many solutions and nothing works with me still the same 

i reinstall the gpu driver and also download the x34 driver and install it, change the hdmi and DP cale but the same problems

 

 

My rig:

i7-5960x

Asus rampage V x99 

3x sli Gtx 980 ti 

32gb ram

 

Some solutions that didn't works with me:

 

1. Turn off the computer and monitor

2. UNPLUG the power for few minutes so that all the capacitors drain in the circuitry of the monitor. You may want to unplug the video cable as well.  

3. After few minutes, replug cable and power cord, turn on monitor and reboot computer.  

 

If that didn't work try this:  Open device manager. Expanding Display adapters. Right click on the adapter and then do a "Update Driver Software"

The monitor showing up in Device Manager as a Generic PnP device does not affect the functionality of the monitor itself. If you want it to show in Device Manager as the model name, you can run Windows Update and it should install the driver, or you can install the driver from our support site at:

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
