nothing I have done including reloading win10 3 times accomplishes this ASPIRE V5 joining my homegro

i have 3 laptops on my homegroup - all 3 use same workgroup

 

everytime i try and join the homegroup - God knows how many times and ways i have tried

 

I am given: This computer can't join and/or create a homegroup

I have tried removing the homegroup from all 3 and creating one from a different laptop

i have of course tried to create a homegroup with this ACER

 

perhaps my last resort will be to try stripping this laptop and load Win7 [i have an original off the shelf CD for it.

 

otherwise, i feel i must totally abandon this Acer to a trashheap and  never look at another ACER. 

i tried many of the various suggestions on websites to no avail!
