Power Plan TravelMate 5760Z

Hello. 

Recently I bought a TravelMate 5760Z Laptop and I'm having a hard time with it because it's my first laptop and I didn't work with laptops but only with desktop computers. I bought this laptop to play some games but I have some question about this power plans and I would be happy if I find any answer here.

So my main problem is , when I play any games I don't experience any lag or anything, but when is plugged in to recharge all of the games have lag. Can you tell me what is the problem ? Is it because of power plans , they are not configured well ?

Also can you suggest 2 power plans and how to configure them for best performance ? The first one I would like to be for gaming and the second one just for surfing the net and writing.

Have you tried restarting your laptopn when you try to plug in the charger?
