Hi all, this is my first ever post and I am in need of some urgent help!
I have accidentally cracked the screen of my acer aspire zc 602, and I need a replacement/repair. Everything inside the computer is perfectly fine, as I have tested. Only one half of the screen is still working and the other cracked half is completely broken. What should I do?
I have found a website: http://www.panelook.com/M195FGE-L23_Innolux_19.5_LCM_overview_19629.html
and it apparently has the screen I need. Is that right or trustworthy? And should I do the screen replacement myself? Please help me as all my family photos and work files are on there and I do not want to lose them! Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,
Could you please post the model name of your current panel, you can find out by installing HWiNFO64 free program, you won't lose any of your files, so no need to panic.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply, but Im not sure what you are talking about. I do not know how to find either of those things. Do I need to install the HWiNFO64 on my broken pc?
  • Hi,
No problem, you need to find out the current panel installed, then only we can compare that with the panel you have mentioned, you can also find out the hardware Ids by going to Device manager, expand Monitors, highlight and right click the Monitor, select Properties, go to Details tab, select Hardware IDs, then post the snip of the value shown. If you can not use the laptop, then you need to dismantle the panel and see the model number.

I have windows 10 and Im not sure how to get there. Is it from the control panel? Also, I was doing some more digging and I found a thread from 2015 about: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/462395/acer-aspire-zc-602-lcd

and I followed their instructions. I think this is the part number:
    KL.1950D.003LCD PANEL.LED.19.5.HD+NGL

I went to the website on that thread and should I just buy the panel from there and try to install it myself?

Buy hdmi cable or if have wi fi tv connect to it if in future you have the same problem

  • Hi,
Yes, I forgot about it but Azeraph mentioned in his post about the cable, you may check the cable is connected properly before buying a new panel, watch some videos on youtube and you should be OK for replacing the panel.
