VUDU Formats and the Iconia W4-820?

Using the VUDO To Go app, I can't view or download HDX content.  I receive an error message that says, "Oops!  The movie won't play on your display due to copyright restrictions.  It can be played only if both your output and display support HDCP. [#3339]."  However, the HDX purchases will play in a web browser, but only in SD.

The SD format can be viewed and downloaded in the app, so no issues there.

My question is can I view and download HD videos from the VUDU To Go app to my Iconia W4?

    Philip_T,

I see something on the VUDU forums that talks about resetting your license files. I'm also seeing posts from people saying the HD movies are streaming only and downloaded versions are not HD, they are SD.

As far as the tablet goes, I don't see anything that would restrict the playing of HD content, the HDMI connection also supports HDCP if you are trying to push an image to a larger display (TV or monitor). Here are the video post processing and hardware acceleration support for this unit: H.264, MPEG2, MVC, VC-1, WMV9, VP8, JPEG/MPEG
