EDIT: Weird, this package still has the .1170 Intel display drivers which cause the delayed wake and crashes. But, version 1176 were pushed out via Windows Update today. We'll see how these do..

Just tried it out, I still get the display driver error. So I reverted back to the  Lenovo one.

Yeah I saw that WDDM1.2 driver from Windows Update and thought to check the Acer site.  I had the display issue with the last package from them but I haven't had issues with this one yet unlike you guys... I've been using it for about a day now.  Will report later again.

Let us know if the Windows Update one does better dudes.

Latest driver from Windows Update looks to be working! Still pretty fresh so we'll see what happens in the new few days. But so far, looks promising.

Can I ask everyone if the driver issues people were having include touch "freezing"?

I upgraded to 8.1, and ever since, regardless of running the latest 2.00 update off support.acer.com, every so often when using the tablet, the device will not respond to touch input, or to tapping the Windows button.  The only thing I can do when this happens is hold the power button down and restart the machine.  Again, this was not an issue under Win 8.0, only started after 8.1 upgrade was complete.

Bereanpk, no such issue with touch freezing. I do notice with 8.1 there has been more touch lag when the processor is overworking though... But nothing a little wait won't fix. Definitely didn't have to force a reset.

Perhaps you can uninstall the touch drivers and reinstall driver package 2.00? (make sure you have a mouse or keyboard to work with though)

2.1 drivers are out... Already? Don't see much difference yet but will report back later. I want to high five Acer! 😍
