Scanning and repairing drive fails/freezes every time at 74% every time when I start.

Tried Alt + F10, but it doesn't load up every time. When it does partial or full recovery doesn't work.

When Win10 recovery console loads, it doesn't recognise an image to recover.

Any ideas what to do?

can be a SSD/HDD issue, since scanning/repairing fails.

the only thing i would try is a complete HDD/SSD wipe and OS re-install, if wipe fails, it's HDD/SSD issue.

if you have a bootable installation media, boot from it, then at language selection press Shift+F10 to open command prompt
    once in command prompt type
    diskpart
    then on diskpart type
    list disk
take note of the correct disk ID to erase
    type
    select disk x
(x is the ID of your HDD to erase)
    type
    clean all
    type exit

it will take some hours to complete.

if you don't have an installation media, you can create one for free from Microsoft server (windows 10):

    I'm not an Acer employee.
