Hi,

Some of the keys on my keyboard have stopped working. They are 1,3,u,p,t,q,- and j as far as I can tell. It started the other day, then they came back for a few days and now they have gone again. I have not spilled anything on the laptop and nothing has changed apart from a new internet router as one died, The first time it happened was when I started using the new router so not sure if that did anything. It is not the filter keys as I have tried that and i starts from first logging on as my password contains some of those.

Please help! I can't afford an expensive fix as I am disabled and this is my lifeblood! I am having to use the on screen keyboard to fill in the gaps Smiley Sad

  • You can try pulling the power plug, remove the battery and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.

    Sometimes this fixes the keyboard.

If you don't have the 2.28  bios 2014/02/07 install it.

Id you have anything plugged in to usb, try without it.
