Hello dear Acer fans Smiley Happy

I have problem with my laptop. My older brother spilled beer over my laptop.

Laptop continued to work for some time and stopped.

I have opened it, I have voltage on the end of charging cable ( inside ) but laptop is dead.

I assume I need new motherboard ( no traces of fluid inside, cpu looks good, hdd works ).

Does anyone, please, have any solutions or ideas where I can buy another mb.

Thank you.

P.S. Serial for laptop: NXMCEEL020***

    Hello,

    1. Did you use the pre-installed OS (shipped with the laptop)?
    2. Did you buy this laptop in the country where you live?

    Hello.

I bought this laptop as used one, with pre-installed system on it. Not sure is it the one shipped with laptop.

Laptop was bought as new in Hungary ( I think ), but I bought it on Malta, used, since the guy who solded it to me bought new one.

    Hello,

Sorry for the questions but they are necessary.

    1. Do you have Windows full version DVDs or the Acer recovery media?
    2. Is your laptop? Check the specs.

    Hi again Smiley Happy

That is my laptop, but with i7 cpu on it and 16GB of RAM.

Regarding DVD, I have original Windows Professional installation DVD with it, no Acer recovery media found.

    Thank you

    Hello,

OK! It's not the original motherboard because V5-573G-54204G1 means I5-4200U. So you'll find a white sticker near the memory slots. There is a string of characters under the bar code.

Could you give the first ten characters (only the first ten)?

As you own an original DVD, you'll be able to buy it anywhere.
