When you boot the Acer Aspire V7-591 Nitro

Does it display on External Monitor.

I need to know because i cant work out if my GPU is broken or its just the LCD.

On hooking up HDMI nothing, it did work earlier until i changed bios settings and messed around with LCD.

I think i broke the LCD but would the hdmi display the bios to the External Monitor no matter what?

I need help on knowing if my GPU is the problem or just LCD cable as i think i messed it up a little.

if you have windows installed, the external monitor will normally turn on when at desktop or you can try to switch to it pressing Fn+F5 keys.

if you don't have windows, a live Ubuntu USB/CD is ok.

you can also try to point a flashlight to the LCD and closely check if any image appear.
