What about our lost time and money? What about your phone tech support people lying to us and telling us to reset out computers to new? What about your full knoledge of the problem while you sold those machines to us?

At least they're working on a fix, it's not easy to find what is the problem. I haven't had problems so far with the .221, two days with no drops

The new driver seems to be working better. Still some issues but by far better than before.

Thanks Acer-Cory, please make sure that whatever new driver update is released also works for those users who have already upgraded to .221.
I have disabled 'automatic switch to best wifi channel' on my access point and .221 appears to work well for me now.

The problem in this mess is that Acer prefers lies over the truth. They should be telling us what they perceive the problem to be, they should pull the S7 from the stores until the problem is fixed, they should offer us current S7 owners money back for our time and money wasted, and they should address each problem individually: Double tapping keys, dropped internet, dead BlueTooth, etc. I sinerely hope a well funded law firm opens a class action suit against this pathetic rip off company. Everyone who has an S7 pile of garbage should keep making this farce as public as possible.

Hi Cory, will the new driver completely solves the wifi problem?
I am given an option to return the computer, still undecided in whether to return it or not as I like the laptop. Just really annoyed with the wifi.

I totaly agree with you - I am reporting this issue to Watchdog - as far as i can see no-one from Acer has apologised or acknowledged this MASSIVE problem let alone offer anything as compensation grrrrrr

I wouldn't expect anything less than for this issue to be resolved. I personally won't have any part of testing the new set of drivers, but I would be surprised this issue persisted past a newly qualified set of drivers.

I understand your frustrated, but I made a post here. Also, the v3 .217 drivers were released the same day. We are commited to working with the community to resolve issues and communicate with you all as much as possible.

Please refer to our FAQ "How do I find my Serial Number of SNID" and if you still are having trouble, please PM your Serial Number and I'll look into it for you.
