I'm having this problem also. Even bluetooth is very hard to connect to devices.
I checked my properties but the check was already off... Can anyone from Acer recommend some action, like a rollback? Did they contact Qualcomm about this?

I just bought the M5 581PT from Best Buy and I am having the same problems. I installed the .075 driver from the .200 and it still cuts out after a few minutes. Not as much as the .200 driver the ultrabook came with or the new driver on Acers Website. This is really ridiculous. Acer needs to fix this asap!!!! I'm going to return mine to Best Buy if they cant find a fix fast. I looked the the Microsoft protocol box the last poster talked about. That box was already un-checked for me too. Thanks for all your help.

I've rolled back to driver 10.0.0.75, to no avail.
However I have tried different wifi channels on my router and it seems that on one particular channel the connection is much more stable now. I'll check over a few days. It seems that the Qualcomm wireless adapter is very sensitive to interferences (other routers transmitting on the same channel), which would explain why it drops the connection randomly and why I needed to get very close to the router to reconnect. Not sure it is a solution for everybody here, but it is worth a try. Wifi Stumbler might help you to check your Wifi environment and choose which channel to set.

I just did an automatic BIOS update and the signal seems more stable. Anyone confirms?
Update: false alarm. Still dropped after 30m...

Okay. I thought the LLDP protocal driver fixed it. I still get disconnected (especally when I'm near other laptops). I'm sitting here in a conference room near several other machines and kept getting disconnected every few minutes or so. I then went to my power settings and realized the default wifi in the power settings (in wirelss adapter settings), was Maximum power savings). I put that on full and bam.. Not a single disconnect in the last 30 minutes with a bunch of laptops around. Hope this helps!

I'll try and see if that works. I also un installed all wifi and bluetooth drivers and re-installed the new drivers. Why hasn't Acer responded to this thread?

There a guy from Acer that answered in this thread a while back, suggesting an uninstall. But that doesn't work for everyone, I'm guessing that's not the problem. Haven't tried it myself because I'm afraid to make it worst. I've sent him a direct message but to no avail.
I would urge everyone here to send them a direct message through the official Acer site (support page).
