Just for the record, I've had this issue with my v5-552p-x617 since I bought it in December 2013. I've reformatted it several times(using the oem image, never used a custom image), have the newest catalyst control center, blah blah blah. It has the A-10 5757m with the 8650g. Hopefully I don't have to send it off for repairs because it JUST got back from repairs for some other issues. ![]()

Got a nice deal on an MSI gaming laptop. At first I thought the Aspire V5 was a great laptop for budget gaming, but then turned out that has a performance problem that screwed up the processors preventing it from giving max power while plugged in, but when unplugged the other way around. Still a nice laptop with wasted potential with that particular problem.
No solution to this problem, tecs won't even bother looking at BIOS as other laptop manufacturers did to fix this same problem.

The truth is, that there is no solution for this issue(this goes for anyone reading who has the problem). It´s an architecture problem and Acer won´t perform any upgrades of such magnitude, because their common clients are non-gaming or non high-GPU demanding persons. There´s no way to solve it but to give us a completely different computer, or a full refund (thing that won´t happen unless you live in certain countries). This computer is simply not-intended to play video games.

Unfortunately, that is how it was advertised. (Not directly, but any gamer [or anyone who needs graphics power] who has a tight budget probably would go for this APU am I right?)
Plus, my v5-552p-x617 was a $650 computer... shouldn't have stupid problems like this, and the WNA being crap as well. Sucks that there is so much wasted potential. A friend tried to convince me that I should get an HP. Next time, I'll listen to him. Officially dissapointed with Acer.

Guys, which country/city are you from? Maybe this is a geographical issue, and only certain motherboards have it. I am from Monterrey,México by the way

GUYS YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT I AM GOING TO SAY, i found a way TO PARTIALLY FIX IT!!!!!!, You have to uninstall WIFI drivers (All of them) by using DEVICE MANAGER......This is bluetooth and WIFI drivers, both have to be uninstalled. Please, let me know if you notice any improvement
Cheers!

It looks like if you auto install WIFI drivers using Device Manager (after uninistall original ones), you will be able to use both WIFI and Bluetooth without the graphic issue!!!!!
