Like the Energizer bunny!!!

I have searched and really can’t find the full answer.
Problem with built-in SD card reader.
When I insert a card, there is no response.
The Card is not seen.
No messages. Nothing.
I have used Device Manager to uninstall and allow Windows to reinstall.
The seems to be two readers.
A PCMCIA adapter that responds when a card is inserted.
And
A PCMCIA and Flash memory device.

See Screen Print.

Everything is enabled and is reported as working.
I have “blown out” the slot.
I have tried different SD cards.
I’m not sure if there is a restriction on what Class of Card it will recognize.
I can’t find the specs.
This is all I have: 5-in-1 card reader (MS/MS PRO/MMC/SD/xD)
What will it support? Anyone know?
I have tried a 8GB Class 4 SDHC and a 32GB.

Am I to understand that a SD HC card is not a SD card?

The cards work just fine with a USB card reader plugged into the same machine.

The latest Driver is the same “build” but has a newer date.

Thanks People,
Joe
