Acer T232HL loss of audio

Hey all,

While trying to get another audio device working, I disabled the T232HL's audio under Sound --> Playback devices --> Playback --> properties. The device subsequently disappeared from the list, and I've had no luck getting it to return. Note that this is under the new Windows 10 upgrade. It was working fine until I disabled it (which was supposed to only be temporary). Any idea how I can get Windows to recognize the device again?

Thanks.

    icedawg,

In the playback tab you can right click and have it show disabled devices, that should bring it back if it's not already checked.

    Hi Justin,

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I'm sure that would have worked, but I just ended up using a system restore point which fortunately had been created not long before I removed the device, and doing so restored it.

Thanks again for your reply though.
