Change Hard disk password (when you still know the old one)

I have an Aspire Switch 11 V SW5-173-60MC and have set the hdd password in the BIOS. Just to be clear, I STILL KNOW THE PASSWORD (so it's not a stolen computer ;-), but want to remove it since I'm going to sell the computer. Preferably, I want to remove the password before I sell it.

In the BIOS, however, there is no such option. So, this solution for example doesn't work for me:

The problem is that my BIOS  (System bios version 1.04) looks like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TO8fKgPo600

It is, however, not possible to click on the line below Set HDD Password because it blank (and not black like in the video).

Can anyone help?

normally you just need to tap on Set HDD password and then inpyut your old password and leave empty the other fields and save.

if it's not working, try to set a supervisor password or be sure that your additional HDD is recognised on BIOS (information page)

    I'm not an Acer employee.
