processor slowing down when playing games

I just realised this problem about 3months ago since i bought this laptop last year. Everytime i play games. the fps will drop about 20-30fps. and the most pathetic is the processor will remain at 1.28Ghz on every games i play. either online or offline games. but when there's no games running, the processor will increase about 2.00-2.50Ghz. Can someone pls give me the solution for this problem ? or should i just contact the technical support ? please help me! PLEASE!

 

My laptop specs :

 

Processor : Intel Core i5 3317U-1.7Ghz Turbo 2.6Ghz
Memory : 4GB up to 8GB DDR3 PC10600
video Type : NVidia GeForce GT620M-1GB
Display Size : 14" wide Crystal LED Capacitive Multi-touch
Hard Drive : 500GB SATA

What model system is this please?

 

Where are you noting these CPU speeds while you are playing a game?

If you have examples of the games that are running, that may help as well.

Hey, I'm sorry for the reply. I'm using Acer Aspire V5-471PG-53314G50Mass 14-inch Touchscreen/ Core i5-3317U/GeForce GT620 1GB with Windows 8. i noticed having a massive drop CPU speed in my task manager. i play so many games and all of them will cause the same problem with my CPU speed.
