Windows Product Key
Windows product keys are provided with all systems shipping with Windows.
- Windows 7 or earlier products: the Windows product key label is attached to the system.
Notebooks: on the bottom of the system
Desktops: lower right corner or the right side panel (from the front)
Tablets and other systems have variable locations, generally under a tab or compartment to protect it. - Windows 8 does not provide a label with the system, as they are embedded in UEFI.
Activation
All Acer systems are preloaded with an active key which is automatically activated.
Windows 8 keys are located in UEFI and are not retrievable.
