Compatibility of a new transformer

I have been trying to contact anybody at Acer to talk about this simple question, but I have not been able to get a hold of anyone.

I bought a new transformer last wek. The adapter is of the brand chicony and it has an outút pf 19V, 3.42 A and 65 W. I bought it to replace the my older transformer. My laptop is an Acer V3 and the battery has the code AS10D51. On the battery it says that the maximum charging current is 3.52 A and the macimum voltage is 12.69 V. The voltage output of the adapter is larger than that. I was recommended to buy this adapter when I called the store and I want to make sure that the adapter will not damage my battery.

I also would like a phone number to give Acer some suggestions and complain about some things. There are many things that make calling Acer hard and sometimes unpleasent.

Thank you

    ramirezco,

Could you please provide the part number of your notebook, I can try and track down the right AC adapter for your unit on our Acer Store. Depending on when you purchased the system determines if you would be able to get in touch with someone by phone.

If you are out of warranty you would be limited to contacting our chat support team, if you have never registered and cannot get through by phone they can update your warranty dates with a proof of purchase so that you can.

If you are still under the one year warranty from the date of purchase you can contact our Acer Technical Support team at 800.816.2237.
