Acer Aspire 5750z Boot error. "PXE-E61: Media Test Failure"

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 5750z 64bit running Windows 8.

When I boot the Laptop up, I get the typical acer boot screen but then goes to a black screen with these words on it:

PXE-E61: Media Test Failure check cable
PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM.

I have tried going into the BIOS and changing boot order to HD first. Aswell as changing the Hard Drive which has a copy of Windows 8 on it. I have made sure that the hard drive is connected properly. The new hard drive I put in works perfectly in my other Acer. On boot up, I can hear that everything is working the HD is spinning I just don't get what the problem is.

Can somebody help me please?

Thank you.

if you are running windows 8 under UEFI BIOS, you need to set windows boot manager as first device; swapping windows 8 HDD from another machine is not a good choice, since it depends how it was installed on that machine 8Legacy or UEFI)

that "error" is the laptop trying to boot from LAN since other bootable devices are missing.

are the 2HDDs recognised on the 5750z BIOS maing page?

if not, can be a loose sata cable or some mainboard issue.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
