Hello,

I can't bluetooth tether my Liquid E2 duo.

I can connect it to my laptop but it's only recognised as a multimedia device.

I tap Settings/other/tethering and enable bluetooth, but i cannot browse the web from my laptop.

could you help me?

Thanks

David

Why don't you use the wifi hotspot?

it's faster and easier to setup.

I've read that it uses more battery and that bluetooth is safer.

it will use for sure more battery (not so much compared to BT in my opinion), about safety....use WPA2 PSK security and a good password, you can check also if any other devices is connected on the hotspot settings and kick it.

browsing under hotstpo is much much faster than BT.

About connecting only to multimedia instead of data, i don't know if is a windows issue because it depends also on the BT chip mounted on your laptop.

Thank you for the hint, but I found that hotspot doesn't work either. My only option is to use USB...
