English version: I got a friend who is working at Acer Hungary and i asked him to find out why Orange Romania did not release the JB update yet.He asked around and he told me that the reason is that the Orange version is quite different from the factory version of JB and that Orange will have a uniqe JB update(with the usual Orange stuff) and this is the reason that the update is not available yet.He thinks that the update should be available soon.

Installed it and phone is running very smooth .What i observed until now is that pressing the power button now turns on the phone instantly from standby there is no more lag.Also the user interface is very smooth thanks to project butter .

JELLY BEAN UPDATE ! Do not the update the phone ! After every reboot it's very very sluggish ! and takes over 500 mb ram ! it's very slow ! I'm on orange romania !

Don't tell people not to update! That's rubbish, my phone runs a LOT better with 4.1.2... Maybe you should try a factory reset/data wipe and start fresh like I did. Your phone will run a lot smoother. Congrats to acer for finally releasing jelly bean for this phone. Now can you please also release the kernel sources? I can't wait to get MIUI on this bad boy!

Hello, i tried the update and when it is at 100%, after reboot, appears the android green robot with an exclamation mark and    write my updates failed. what's wrong?

@goinatudor this is so wrong. On the contrary, after the update, the total available RAM memory increased from 680 to 795 MB. So you definitely have to make a factory reset or/and data wipe and start and reinstall all your programs intalled before update. Good luck
