Acer Xb280Hk - No Display

Hello,

I recently bought an Acer Monitor - The XB280HK,

However when I connect it to my Laptop the display keeps showing as "No Signal", I am connecting through the following methods to no Avail....

HDMI to DP Cable Via Laptop HDMI Port

HDMI Cable and DP Adapter Via Laptop HDMI Port

Mini DP to DP Cable (x3) Via Laptop Thunderbolt Port/Mini DP Port

Mini DP Adapter to DP and DP Cable Via Laptop Thunderbolt Port/Mini DP Port

The laptop detects the screen and some times lets me alter the resolution settings. I have installed the latest Driver for the monitor on my Laptop, even reset the monitor on another PC (DP to DP Cable). So I know the monitor is working. However after all that I still cannot get a display.

My Laptop is fairly new, Windows 10 (Up-to-Date) with Nvidia 980m in SLI also up-to-date drivers. ITs the XMG p724 based off the clevo p370sm.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the monitor to display - or is it a compatibilty issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Andrew

I had this exact issue with my Acer XB1 monitor. Unfortunately I had to RMA it for a new one. The new one powered up with a display right off the bat, which let me know the first monitor was indeed defective.
