    Hi,

Maximum supported speed for your model is 2400MHz, try to get matching modules for trouble free installation.

Hello, Helios 300 can take up to 32gb of ddr4 2400. You can mix and match ram brands but usually it's best to get matching as Brummy has suggested.

If you plug in one 2400 and one 2666 the 2666 should lower itself to 2400 to match the other stick. If you plug in 2 they should downclock to 2400 but I'm not sure what will actually happen. Do you already have this RAM or were you thinking of buying? If you're going to buy then just get ddr4 2400.

hy my G3-572 came with 8gb ddr4 2666mhz... why would acer put a 2666 memory if it only suports 2400?????
I cheked with cpu-z and the memory is running at 1333mhz... 2400 should run at 1200mhz if i am corect.
So to me looks like this motherbord suports 2666 too.

Hi oneill1952, I'm new in this forum (by the way, hello to everyone!) and  i'm a  very happy owner of this Amazing laptop, my model is exactly  as yours  and more, it came out of the box with a single Kingston module 16Gb (ACR26D4S9D8MD-16) that cpu-z is reading as a 2666mhz  and running at 1333, I know that our laptop should only support 2133/2400 ram speed but then: why did they put a 2666 one? (that is working flawlessy by the way)  I didn't find any explanation about, and if I would upgrade it with another 16 gb module, I'm still not sure if I should use a 2400 or simply add a 2666 one! do you have any news about it?
    Any help would be appreciate
