Backups cannot be saved into the recovery partition.  It houses the recovery information.

Please attempt to make your USB backup for the system and let us know if it succeeds or fails.

Yes. You should be able to use eRecovery to restore your system. You can find instructions for using eRecovery below.

I am not sure why your recovery partitions are showing they are empty. Have you changed any partitioning or settings in disk management? The only way to really tell if the recovery partition is intact and usable would be to run erecovery, and see if it completes successfully. If you do not want to completely restore your system to test this, you can use eRecovery to just install a driver, or to create a USB backup. If for some reason, the recovery partition is not intact, I would recommend you contact technical support in your region to order recovery disks.

It seems as if your recovery partition is most likely intact and usable. I recommend installing the USB recovery patch located at http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29884.

    hi Tommy

the CREATE FACTORY DEFAULT BACKUP Successfully completed

Size of the data in my USB 12 GB

does that means my recovery partition work fine??

can i do a restore factory setting by ACER RECOVERY MANAGEMENT ??

I WANT TO ADD ANOTHER PARTITION FROM SPLITTING THE C: DRIVE

AFTER A restore factory setting DOES IT BACK AS IT WAS A SINGLE DRIVE C: OR Remains (C: AND D: )

Yes, the creation of the USB recovery media indicates that the recovery partition is working properly.

Yes, you can do a factory restore through Acer Recovery Manager.

Creation of additional partitions would be up to you.  I do not believe that the restore would do anything with the additional partition and would only pertain to data on the C: drive.
