SATA 3 support

Hey guys I'm new here, and I'm not sure if I should ask this question here or elsewhere.

So here's my question: I just want to make sure if my laptop - Aspire 3820T has SATA III support

I've tried system information for windows (siw), but didn't see the information I want.

So I'm not sure if acer.com has the information, or I'll just have to try it and see the result.

I'm currently on Windows 8, i3 350M, 4GB RAM, and BIOS 1.13 (wanted to update it btw)

Thanks Smiley Happy

sata3 is backward compatible with sata2, you might want to get sata3 ssd since the price difference is not that much.

avoid ssd with sandforce chipset if possible

Thanks, I bought a Samsung 480 Pro and loved it. I tested it and it says it's only SATA II support.
