Hi, I'm new to this site, i didn't know how to start a new discussion!
I have an acer aspire v3-771 which had windows 8 on it, bought a new hard drive, put windows 7 on it, took out the win8 drive, no dual booting, everything works but the computer isn;t picking up the network adapter?
I don;t think it will have anything to do with the f2 button, that only does airplane mode right? that won;t stop the computer from detecting the adapter should it?
would there be a case of the win7 no detecting the drivers, i heard somewhere, that you can unistall the dirver form device manager and install it again? would that be necessary?
Would anyone have any suggestions? thanks!
John

Hi,
I would install the launch manager for the computer. This activates a lot of shortcut buttons, and you can use this to enable/disable the wireless (amongst other things) http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Applicatio
