I can think of only a Refresh after backing up all your important documents or a Factory restore.

Hi Peter1212,

In charms bar click settings, click Change PC settings (right bottom corner), then click Update and Recovery (on the left Pane), click Recovery and do a Refresh.

You need to back up any important document, pictures or any work in an external hard disk to be on the safe side, also make note of any third party programs you installed as they will be lost and yoou need to install them again.
