My Acer Aspire one AOD270 jams on acer logo after power on and does not boot any further.

Hello,

My acer aspire one AOD270 is not booting. After I press the power on, it stops on the initial display of the acer logo. Nothing else happens. The F2 key only makes it say "please wait" and forever. Please may I get help. I have tried to discharge capacitance and staff like that. I have tried several keys/hot keys to no avail including the F12 and altGr+F8 Is it the BIOS and what should I do or is it the RAM because I checked on my RAM and it is in the right place

It sounds like you have done a lot of your own troubleshooting and not much more I could suggest. At this point it sounds like a hardware issue. It could be a bad HDD, RAM or even the mainboard. You have the option of contacting our technical support in your region for repair or take it locally if you are out of warranty.
