I have a V3-771 and since my Windows Update a few days ago I keep on getting limited connection

I have Windows 8. I have checked my network adapter driver and it tells me that everything is working well. However, when I have further researched this issue, I have read on the contrary.

Do I need to reinstall my drivers again, because I have read that the current driver is incompatible with Windows 8.

I would really appreciate some response from this as it is becoming really frustrating with my internet always cutting off intermittently. There was no issue before the update by the way

    Hi,

I did a PC refresh and after doing this a couple times to see the issue, I have finally pinpointed where the culprit lay.

After playing around with my router and everything else, I found out that the QCA Wifi Driver 10.0.0.217 and the Atheros Blue Tooth Driver 8.0.000.0206 are the drivers that have the conflict. In other words, these two drivers are the ones that are making the connection 'limited'.

Everytime I restalled these after my PC refresh my computer internet connection became 'limited'. However, after my 3rd PC refresh I decided not to install these drivers. Because of this I have no issues whatsoever with my internet connection at all. No 'limited' at all. Furthermore, as soon as I boot my computer, the internet is connected, whereas before, with these drivers installed, this was not happening at all.

Clearly, there is a massive issue with these drivers. I had to, as computer illiterate as I am, had to figure this out.

Please try rolling back prior to the latest set of updates, when you noticed the issue.

Also, please provide a list of the updates you see from the last update.

So what do I need to do to solve the issue? Remove the two drivers? and if so where and how can I do this?

    Many thanks
