Couldn't get it work on my 5755g. I have extracted the program from the installer and it's simply stop working if I chose to turn the fan on. By the way on my desktop computer it's not stop but of course simply not working...
Seems like we (5755g users) also have to beg for a similar tool. Instead of spam this topic who agree with me, I recommend to follow me: http://community.acer.com/t5/Notebooks-Netbooks/Fa

Some more results with fan controller prog:
Disabled TurboBoost again (why would I need temporary performance increase? stability is better I guess)
Overclocked 540M to 800 clock / 900 memory (default is 672/800)
Cooling pad
Max CPU temp: 75
Max GPU temp: 69
Feels like I bought new laptop.
Considering adding more to GPU clocks, since temps are safe and I eveyrthing is stable.
Awesome. Good job, Acer and personally Rolf.
Edit: Ok, don't try 810 core clock, instant crash ![]()

The topic for the 5755g was removed? No attention for the pure 5755g which has totally the same problem but the tool not working? ![]()
We need a fan control tool for the 5755g please... it's use the same bios but the tool is not working. ![]()

That topic was merged with this one as the discussion is related to the same issue and the machines have the same BIOS.

I see...
But as I said this tool can not be installed on the 5755g and the binary files do nothing with the fan speed (at least without install)... Which is weird becase we have the same bios O.o
We need different fix for our device. ![]()
