Hello everyone, it's been a while since my last post.
Just wanted you all to know we are continuing to work on this issue and I expect we will have some more information to share at the beginning of next week.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Yes... nice to hear Acer is working on this and is possibly even close to a solution.
I just tried to get my machine in under travel warranty as I'm on a different continent than my point of purchase, and found out that I'm not even under warranty for some reason.
It is really.... REALLY bad that I have to fix a 2 year old laptop (for which I already had to replace the battery) possibly out of my own pocket, meanwhile my IBM Thinkpad is still running on a 6 year old battery and hasn't had a dime spent on it.
Of course... I haven't played games on that Thinkpad. ![]()
So Acer... let's see what you guys come up with for
1. finding the problem
2. addressing it.
All eyes on you. ![]()
Us patient consumers are eagerly awaiting your next move.

First I want to thank Rolf, finally someone who cares about our problem. Second, I want to add my personal experience and data, maybe it can be usefull.
Specs:
i5 2450M
GT630M DDR3(672Mhz/800Mhz Core/Memory)
6 Gb Ram DDR3
My Acer 5750G started to have serious problems with overheating after 7-8 month I bought it. In demanding games like Max Payne 3 (Med details), Serious Sam 3 (Med/High details), Dead Island (High details) and Tomb Raider (2013) (Med/High details) with cpu capped to 2ghz (80%) I easily hit 95-97° on cpu and 90-94° on gpu. My fan seems to work normally: it's very silent in idle (45-47°), and starts to spinning faster at about 75°, raising to its max speed (actually 60-70% of its real max speed, as someone already said, on boot up or when flashing a new bios the fan spins a lot faster) at about 85°. Oh, I've even tried to reinstall the stock Acer OS, but nothing changed (to be totally honest the temps went even worst, probably due to preinstalled Acer programs running in background).
Currently I've managed to lower my temps by doing the following things:
1) I've cleaned the whole laptop from dust, and repasted both cpu and gpu with a high performance thermal paste (Prolimatech PK-3). This helped a lot with temps, dropping them of about 10-15°
2) I've personally modded the vbios for undervolting the gpu, lowering the pstate P0 (3D profile) voltage from 0,98v to 0,88v. I've done a lot of tests and I didn't experience any freeze, crash or whatever, so I assume that this gpu can work well with a lower voltage (and that means lower temps too). You can find these modded bioses here http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/729899-acer-5
3) I've bought a cooling pad (Notepal U3). Not very usefull, but at least it helps the fan to gather some fresh air. This didn't lower temps at all.
Now during gaming on high demanding games (for example Batman Arkham Origins) I hit 80-85° on cpu and 70-73° on gpu, that is quite acceptable.
However, it's clear that there are some bad issues with this laptop cooling system.

Yeah, because for this you have to disassembly the whole laptop... I can't understand why they don't left a little "door" for the fan, so it could be cleaned easily... -.-'

Made me wonder as well.... serious design flaw.
I've cleaned mine and got a little, yet useful improvement. Then I told my friend with same laptop who is in anohter country now to try it and maybe win a few degrees, but when he realized he has to take apart everything, he refused cuz he's not as good with PCs.
