The Samsung 840 Evo 1TB 2.5" was at $380 yesterday on Amazon, so I pulled the trigger. I overpaid a bit for the 500GB mSATA because I wanted to make sure it worked before the 14-day return period was up on the R7 purchase.

Yeah thats the one. I was this >< close to getting it. Although the review over at tomshardware showed the 500 one a tiny bit better than the 1TB, (but not much of a difference that the average person can notice). So for me its either one, although I just might jump on the 1TB version later on since I won't have to go search for the steps to clone the current 1TB dive onto a smaller mSata.
